Soul of braj is actively engaged in distributing hygienic food to the villagers near Yamuna Ghat in Vrindavan during the COVID-19 pandemics. As mother Teresa said, If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one. Soul of braj is ensuring the cleanliness of food from the time of purchasing, storage, transportation, preserving, cooking, and distribution of foods to prevent several infections and diseases.

Soul of Braj Federation is already on its way helping the masses and the organization plans to open a sanitary napkin bank in every village where women can buy the napkins at an affordable rate. Also, after the Hathras incident left a deep mark in the nation’s conscience, Soul of Braj Federation further planned to open dedicated centres for women, where they can speak about their issues and share problems. The village heads would take responsibility for any such matter on the basis of complaints. Also awareness programmes would soon begin to curb such heinous acts on women.

During the lockdown, the team of Soul of braj realized that the problem in the slum area is such women and girls have never used sanitary napkins, the reason being, lack of information, accessibility, and affordability. They rely on unhygienic alternatives. In order to provide them access to sanitary pads, the team started distributing sanitary napkins in slum areas. Our team approaches urban women and enlighten them about the problem prevailing in the rural areas and how they can contribute. Till, today, Soul of braj has distributed 11,000 sanitary napkin packets through donation. SOB has been working round the clock last 2 months distributing sanitary packets to women who can either not access sanitary napkins during a lockdown or can no longer afford the necessity affected by COVID -19 lockdown.
